I remember Grandpa would always eat the eyes of fish we would bring him, I remember always seeing toothpicks and back scratchers and hearing smooth jazz when he was nearby.
I remember his lazyboy and seeing him nap so easily in it, I remember him telling everyone to "cut opp da light" when they left a room.
I remember he would always take care of everyone, whether you needed a handful of cashews or an ice cream cone , he was there to help any way he could, as long as your shoes where at the door.
His lifestyle of discipline and selflessness has continued to impact my life and those who where lucky enough to be around him.
