I am just learning of Sandra's passing and feel compelled  to leave a message. My memories of Sandra are incredibly vivid even though I haven't seen her or George since I was a girl. My dad worked with George and my parents were friends of theirs. I spent a great deal of time at their home in Chula Vista. I remember Sandra's wonderfully eclectic style, her serving me avocados and insisting I learn to swim in their pool. She always encouraged me to become an artist or at least feed the creative side of my soul. I thought she was the most fabulous grown up I had ever met. I wish I had known she passed. I most certainly would have attended her services, but alas we all lost contact over the years although I'm not sure about why. 

I'll always think of Sandra as a beautiful butterfly who graced my life for too short a time.  She was a fantastic bridge player and a caring and generous friend.  I'll miss her very much.

Sandy we'll miss you dearly, you were a such a special addition to all our Christmas memories.  Thanks for all the special cards you always took the time to hand right, it makes them so special and personal. Love ya Terry
