Our sweet Sue/Mama passed away peacefully on April 22, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family and Lottie the dog. She will forever be our golden light, our beacon of love, our beautiful wildflower. Sue/Mama would love to know that you are dipping your feet in the ocean, or reading a book, working in your garden, helping a friend in need, laughing with a loved one, baking cookies, sharing wonder with a child. This would make her soul smile.
"Keep Sweet" is a phrase she would always say to those whom she held close, as well as "in my pocket", as a way of letting a loved one know she held them in her heart always. May we all find comfort in these words.
Sue/Mama is in the whisper of the trees, in a child's laugh, in a hummingbird's flight, in a flower's bloom, in the first notes of a song, in the turning of a book's page, in the holding of hands, in the constant and abiding power of faith and love.
Blessings,
Jon, Jennifer, Melissa, Mandy
