ted and julia were are best friends at the hiller highlands countryclub, along with the other "red chair set". 
they visited us  when we lived  in sequim, wa. we did a lot of crabbing, and julia said i will eat crab 3 times a day, and she did. we had a boat and caught the crab fresh!
we also camped with 6 other couples every year from our club. we had gourmet dinners with our friends. there are so wonderful memories. 
julia was a widow with 4 children. ted embraced them like his own. there are so many, ( to numerous) wonderful times with ted and julia.
when george (my husband) and i fist became members, ted was the first to be our friend, forever. my heart goes out to your family.
