I am still having a hard time coming to grips with this. Writing this on what would be your birthday. So surreal...cannot be real. Unfortunately, this is. Jo Jo was truly the best of Us! He brought balance to countless people’s lives! Your impact on my life was immense. Thank you for making me part of your “Ohana”! For the Bedania Family, my condolences. I love Jo Jo like a brother...he is my brother! I have never seen a man give out so much love, along with receiving so much love! So inspirational...so Jo Jo! I will carry you in my heart forever! I cannot tell you the first time that I met Jo Jo, but it feels like I’ve known him for a long time. I can tell you the last time I saw him. It was the last day he blessed us with his presence. We were both coming off the bridge on that long stretch to the gates at North side by side in our cars. “Our Last Ride”.  I wish I followed you to your parking spot, talked and gave you one last hug. Until we meet again Bro.

I worked for JoJo when I was in bldg 472 he was my boss for a while. He was one of the nicest person, always seemed happy and a good sense of humor. So down to earth. I was sadden to find out if his passing so young and just couldn’t believe it. But God must of needed him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and kids and his wife whom he spoke of as his partner and such kind words about her. Fly high with the angles “JOJO”. HEAVEN RECEIVED ONE OF THE BESTS. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to the family, and my sweet granddaughter Princess David and her fiancee William Hayes, my grandson. May God comfort and bless you in this time of sorrow. 

Dearest Uncle Jojo

I am truly grateful that I got to meet you and shared some memories with you, although it wasn’t that many,  but to me they’re precious. The first time we met, you gave me and my dad a warmest welcome in your  family. I just wish you  were able to meet my mom and your other sisters and of course the rest of the family in the Philippines, so they will also know how cool, nice, and “kalog” you are.  I remember you saying after Uncle Theo went to the Philippines that we are going to have a reunion for Decena clan, so they can meet you. I am pretty sure they will also give you a warmest welcome. But I know unexpected things happen. Your death was shocking to us, at first I couldn’t believe it happened because you just greeted me like 2 days before it. Uncle, you will never be forgotten. I will always remember you, and you will always have a part in our hearts. May you rest in peace uncle jojo. We love you.. Prayers to you and your family..

You were there for my brother and I without me realizing how much of a player you were behind the scene of our career. I feel like a disappointment to you ... I really do , more than anything , all I wished that you could of seen our real potential, more than anything I wish I could of thanked you more or asked you about your problems , I really honestly wish I could of been there for you for once ... I hate myself for never paying you back for your kindness , but more than anything , I wish you were still here , so I can make you proud that you did not make a mistake to trust your your legacy to us . You were the best supervisor anyone could ever ask for JoJo... I will forever carry your morals and values with me, and make you proud 😭

Jojo, I wish I can pay back the kindness you have shown my brother and me. For four years, you have been an important person in my life. I appreciate the faith and trust you had with me. I had some difficult times, and you had been there to guide me. The impact you had on people spreads far and wide. Like others here, we all wished to spend a little more time with you.

I didn't imagine writing this for you, no amount of word can do justice and honor your memory. I knew that you liked to laugh, and I was watching Mr deeds the other day.

JoJo was an amazing, caring, and encouraging, person. These characteristics made him a great supervisor. He would say, "I take care of my people!”. And he absolutely did! When I was going through a tough time with my daughter and in need of someone to talk to, not only did he listen, but he showed me so much compassion. He would often send me encouraging emails asking how my daughter and I were doing, and remind me that he was praying for us. I am so honored to have been apart of his team! I truly appreciate him and he will be missed. My heart goes out to his family!

My heart hurts trying to come up with the words to say how much you will be missed. When I found out you passed it was like a blow to the stomach. You always made me smile and was there for me and my family. My prayers go out to your family, especially your wife and children. I can’t imagine what they are going through. Rest easy, I know Nancy and Jenny are up there with you and you will all be waiting for us at the end of the road. Love you!

Today I received the news of your passing and it seems surreal to me. Though we briefly knew each other you sure made an amazing impression on me when I worked under your supervision at North Island. I always will remember how your joy lit up the room in the calibration cage when you would stop by to talk to Chris and Rudy. You never failed to always check up on me and see if I was good or needed anything.  You were a great supervisor, and an even greater person. My prayers go out to your family, as well as everyone who’s life you’ve positively impacted. 

My heart hurts as I write this . I’m still In total shock . I still don’t want to Believe it .. and I still don’t want to say goodbye . Jojo , It was an honor to be your little sister ...you had a calm  voice , best  humor ,  and the kindest heart . I will never forget you. 

My Dear Brother Jojo aka Cujo,
It's hard to believe that you're gone but I know you'll continue to be the life of the party in Heaven; dancing the cha cha or poppin'. I'm grateful for all the memories and know you truly made my teen years the best. You were the matriarch of Asian Mafia and Female Force.  Because of you, I can say I had a brother. You were always there for me and protected me. We [all] might have went our own ways but I've always kept you in my heart. If that's one thing I regret is not staying in touch. Thankfully in 2013 we reunited. Last year you gave a speech at my grad party and I got you to dance with me [our last dance]. Your speech addressed the special bond between you and my family. We love you.
I never got to tell you how proud I am for the man that you became in your personal and professional life.  You created a beautiful life with Faye, Keoni and Kiana. I will do my best bro the check on them and to be here for them. I've been blessed to have you in my life and will always cherish you. Until we meet again, keep smilin' your infectious smile. I love you Bro ❤

It took me a while to type this because I could not see the keyboard from the tears rushing from my eyes. We literally were just talking in the parking lot hours before and now you’re gone. I can’t even begin to think how much pain your family is in but I know Theo will guide them through this. I have so many memories to share but I’m glad I was able to make you laugh one more time. That was always the best thing about you. No matter what stress or pain you were going through, you always hid it behind your laughter, smile and your corny but funny ass inside jokes to reassure everyone else that there’s no need to stress. Although it’s nowhere near enough to express how much you’ve done for me, from the bottom of my broken heart, thank you Jojo. I can’t even believe I’m saying this but to my older brother, mentor and dearest friend, may you Rest In Peace.

This all still seems so surreal and still hard for me to accept. Jojo you were the light and laughter to me and my sisters and the brother we never had. I have so many fond memories with you and my family and how much you were our protector and cared about everything. I am so grateful  to finally have met Faye and your kids last September and knowing that you didn’t leave us without me and John meeting them.  I know someday we will all see you again in heaven and celebrate with love and laughter. I love you and will miss you dearly...prayers for Faye and your kids and the rest of the Bedania family.

I am still in shock.  I am having a hard time with this sad news. I am hoping I wake up from this bad dream of losing you. I will miss you texting or calling me wanting to know what new “chismes” (gossip) I had to share, whether  it be about work, or who screwed up next, or a new Jokoy joke! Or to ask me if you could take a sip from the patron bottle (inside joke) because you were having a rough day and vice versa! Jojo, to say you will be missed is the biggest understatement I’ve ever made. You were as much a friend/mentor/family member as you were a boss/supervisor/coworker. Your ability to diffuse a serious situation and keep a level head when it was necessary is something I hope to further develop. I will never forget you and will miss you and our friendship. The heavens gained one amazing angel on the 13th. I’m sure you’re up there waiting for the rest of us to one day join you.

My brother, it seems like just yesterday that we met up in Nancy’s office and I was told you were a new supervisor. From pretty much that day forward you and I would talk about our respective shops and how we could get things done. You were always the cool and collected one and always had the inside scoop on what was going on around the island. 
The day that Faye called to say you were gone was a shock that hasn’t worn off. You were a friend that I always looked forward to speaking with, sharing a good story and a laugh. We had many a laugh over a vacation story, or a boondoggle at work. You could always find a way to make something serious less so or humorous. I will miss our talks.
You will be missed but you wont be forgotten. You were respected by many and loved by most. Rest In Peace my friend Heaven will suit you and I am sure you’ll be waiting for us all to join you.
