Karen,  I heard today about this very sad news.  I am so sorry I did not know this before and now deeply regret not staying more closely in touch with Tim & you. As large as life, quick with a humorous story always with a devious smile, Tim and I shared separate memories of Scotland and other travels.  He is no longer in the driver's seat but he now knows the big secret.  I miss the man child he was with us all.

I would like to offer my sincere and complete condolences to the Crain family on Tims passing during this time of grief. We shared many days at various car shows and road course events over the last 6 years.  He was a truly (colorful) friend whom always enjoyed the company of others. Semper Fi Marine you will be missed but never forgotten.

Tim, you will be sorely missed by your SoCal SAAC brothers and sisters. Your humor and selfless contribution to the club and community will be remembered. We wish you clear skies and open roads wherever your travels take you next.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of fellow Hot Rodder and friend Tim Crain.

Tim was always full of enthusiasm about cars and the Marine Corp along with his great stories.

I will miss not seeing him at the car events.

I was so, so sorry to hear this news today, and please accept my deepest sympathy.  Tim and I had so many great adventures together in the old days of DEC, and a few even after all that was over.  He was a great guy - could be loud and, and well... you know, very "Tim-like".. on the outside, but he was kind, sensitive, caring, and had a genuine heart of gold.  He would do just about anything to help a friend, family member, or colleague, and he helped me many times over our years together.  He will be missed on this earth, but I will relish the memories.

Dear Karen, it's with a heavy heart I express my deepest condolences regarding Tim's passing.  He was a great friend, husband, and will be greatly missed.  I am proud to have called him my friend.

Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one this holiday season.
