I met Jinny 50 years ago and we have been very good friends for all of those years.  I have never known a more caring, giving, honest person and I will miss her very much.

My Aunt Jinny was a wonderful Auntie to both my sister Debbie and I.  I have many fond memories of her.  She always did the sweetest things.  When I was very young, she would bring "scratch and sniff" stickers home to give to me.  She also would always send us birthday cards in the mail with a little gift inside.  I always looked forward to them.  Then, my own sons started looking forward to Great Aunt Jinny's birthday cards.  Aunt Jinny also loved to spend time with her sister Molly, my mom.  I was very cute to see their love and support for one another through the years.  God bless you Aunt Jinny!

Jinny was such a caring and kind lady.  She was always there for my dad especially when he was going through tough times and illness.  She was also a good friend to my grandmother many years ago.  I will remember and appreciate her for her encouraging words, thoughfulness and humor.  :-)  Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

     Dear, dear Jinny.  What a kind and thoughtful lady!  I became acquainted with Mrs. Moody several years ago through the Rolling Readers program at Tiffany Elementary School.

     What a kick it was to discover that our telephone numbers were exactly the same, except the last two digits were reversed!  Consequently, it was very easy for me to return her calls or just phone to say hi.

     Recently in October I stopped by her home.  We were experiencing some extremely warm weather.  There was a young maintenance man working right outside her door.  Jinny was concerned about his well-being.  She had me go to the refrigerator and get him a cold water bottle.  Her kindness and Christ-like charity touched me.  She could have easily done nothing, but she didn't.

     Know that your mother and friend continues to live.  The day will come when you will be reunited.

     I appreciate the opportunity of knowing Jinny.  Her friendship was sweet.  She made the difference in the lives of many students throughout the years.  Her strong spirit and persistence will be missed.

     May the Lord comfort you at this time.  Know that all is well.

I was blessed to know Jinny for the last few years.  She helped me understand my role as a tutor with Rolling Readers and was always available to answer any questions.  Even as her health declined, I was always impressed with her dedication to the program and the way she accepted her life.  She was a gracious lady and I appreciated her friendship.  Jinny, rest now in God's realm.
