Mr. Bobby G. McElroy

Bobby Gene McElroy, 75, died Monday, June 28, 2010 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a member of Martin Hill Free Will Baptist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason with Booneville Lodge # 305 and a York Rite Mason.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Wilson and Bro. Gerald Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nell McElroy; two daughters, Pam Clark (Billy) and Kathy Volking(Russell); one sister, Ruby Brasel; one brother, Raymond McElroy (Priscilla) all of Booneville; two brother in laws, Thomas Wilson of Booneville, Kenneth Wilson (Kay) of Hartsell, Al.; two sister in laws, Gail Wilson and Brenda Pharr (George) both of Booneville; four grandchildren, Amy Harris (Jason), Amber Janzen (Seth), Ryan Volking, and Kurt Volking; and four great grandchildren, Tyson and Jake Harris and Jaycee Drew and Clark Janzen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie W. and Jewel Boren McElroy; and one great granddaughter, Molly Grace Harris.

Pallbearers will be Larry Isbell, Nathan Pharr, Jackie Stokes, Doug Wilson, Boyce Barber and Thomas Bryde.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until service time on Wednesday.
