Bren Cook, age 17, passed away on April 29, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center. Bren was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, to his loving parents, Toby and Virginia Cook. He was a kind and loving soul who deeply cherished his family and friends. Bren was known for his loyalty and the way he was always there for the people he loved, offering support, kindness, and a steady presence. He loved drawing and had a special gift for investing in others. Bren made it a priority to share his free time with the people he loved.
Funeral services will be held at Gumtree Presbyterian Church on May 7, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Bren’s life. 1011 Thomas Street Tupelo, MS 38801
Bren is survived by his parents, Toby and Virginia Cook; his sister, Kera Wicker and her husband, John Wicker, along with their son, Callum Wicker; his sister, Arli Betts and her husband, Chance Betts; and his brother, Chevy Cook.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alta and Doug Cook, Jackie Henson, and Milton Lindsey.
