Donna Steward

Donna Cunningham McDougal Steward, 70, of Booneville, MS passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 5, 2022. She was born December 19, 1951, to Charlie and Reba Cunningham. Donna was a Booneville High School graduate, worked in the lab at Booneville Hospital for 39 years, and was a faithful member of East Booneville Baptist Church. She loved her family, her church family, and her Connection Group ladies dearly. A celebration of life service will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at East Booneville Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Howell officiating. A graveside service will be held at Forked Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Chris Johnson (Elizabeth) and Johnna Strange (Reid); grandchildren Avery Johnson, Caroline Johnson, Coleman Johnson, Mills Johnson, Burke Strange, and Ada Strange; a host of nieces and nephews; and Jean Gahagan (Nanny). She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Reba Cunningham, her brothers Charles “Bud” Cunningham, Paul Reed Cunningham and Mike Cunningham. Edwin "Winn" Johnson and Johnny McDougal. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time Tuesday at East Booneville Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of McMillan Funeral Home, Booneville, MS. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to East Booneville Baptist Church Memorial Fund or to a special charity near to your heart.
