

Etoyle Blaylock Flurry, 95, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Landmark Assisted Living in Booneville. She was born May 19, 1921, to Claude and Verna Hood Blaylock. She graduated from Webb High School and Northwest Community College. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service, Booneville Head Start and Prentiss County Child Development Center. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Booneville where she was a member of the Wesley Sunday School Class, she served as Communion Steward and assisted with Wednesday night meals for as long as her health allowed. She loved to cook for her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, November 12, 2016, at McMillan Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Sisk and Rev. Bobby Hankins officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edward Paul Flurry, Sr.; one son, Eddie (Debbie) Flurry; one daughter, Connie (Stanley) Wright; one sister, Wanda Faye Tubbs; five grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Flurry, Jessica (Jason) Haulcomb, Kevin (Ashleigh) Flurry, Suzanne (Bradley) Geno and Andy (Beth) Wright; and 11 great-grandchildren, Travis Taylor, Troy Taylor, Trent Taylor, Colin Flurry, Reagen Flurry, Elam Flurry, Mary Michael Flurry, Davis Geno, Mason Wright, Jason Haulcomb Jr., Jayden Haulcomb and Baelin McLemore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers are Jason Flurry, Kevin Flurry, Andy Wright, Jason Haulcomb, Bradley Geno and Larry Tubbs.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
