Evelyn Davis Lambert Beck, 89, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born September 19, 1924, to Hollis and Audie Beard Davis. She was a member of Jacinto Church of Christ. She retired from Brown Shoe Company after 31 years of service.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 21, 2013, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Terry Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Larry Gene Lambert; one granddaughter, Jennifer Coon; and one great-granddaughter, Molly Coon.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Lambert; her second husband, Charles Beck; one son, J.E. Lambert; her parents; one sister, Willie Garrett; and three brothers, Arlin, Clyde, and Guy Beard.
Pallbearers are Gene Johnson, Deon Taylor, Dave Crowe, Mike Cunningham, Truman Duncan and Bob Sweeney.
Honorary pallbearers are the employees of A.C. Wright Trucking and Jody Rone.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
