James Hubert Prince Sr.

James Hubert Prince, Sr., 90, of Traverse City, MI died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. He was born August 13, 1922 to Clifton Garrett and Nora Lee Stevenson Prince. He was retired from General Motors and he served in the US Army Occupation Forces in Japan after WWII.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Jacinto Church of Christ with Bro. Tommy Wright officiating. Burial will be in Jacinto Cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Adrean of Waterford, MI and Kimberly Ann Prince of Starkville; one son, James H. Prince, Jr. of Traverse City, MI; one sister, Lurline Wright of Booneville and Martha Jean Collins of Corinth; three grandchildren, Jamie Sue Prince, Chris Dean Adrean, and Jeffrey Scott Adrean; seven great-grandchildren, Logan Michael Hartz, Hayley Mattie Hartz, Meryl Anne Adrean, Vaughn Scott Adrean, Gwen Lidan Prince, Shawn Xuenan Prince, and Cally Xiaodi Prince.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Marie Harville Prince; parents; two sisters, Hazel Bain and Esther Quay Maness; one brother, J.W. Prince; and one grandson, Matthew Robert Prince.

Visitation will be from 5-9 pm on Friday and until 9:30 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
