James Elbert Yarber, 43, died Sunday, November 21, 2010, at his home after an extended illness. He was born October 19, 1967 in Prentiss County to William Henry and Lela Akers Yarber. He was a painter in the construction business.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Elbert Ray Bennett and Bro. Kevin Yearber officiating. Burial will be in the Sumners Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Yarber; three sons, Tony Bacus, Gideon Ismail and James Yarber, Jr.; his mother, Lela Yarber; two sisters, Sandra (Phillip) Bearden and Mae (Larry) Hoard; two brothers, William Yarber and Allen (Nancy) Hawkins.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Marlice Yarber.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
