Leola Roper

Carmen Leola Roper, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at home. She was born June 29, 1937, to James Albert and Carmenettie Swinney Edge She was a chiropractic assistant and x-ray technician for 27 years, and worked for Transportation Insurance for 10 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Booneville.

A celebration of life service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at McMillan Funeral Home with a eulogy delivered by Laurie McBride. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery

She is survived by two daughters, Delane Patrick and Sharon (Mike) Davis; one son, Lowell (Charlotte) Roper; one sister, Mary Nell Rogers; three grandchildren, Matthew (Jade) McCully, Emilee (Josh) Hughes and Staycee Roper; and three great-grandchildren, Zane, Blaiklee and Brantlee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell M. Roper in 2007; her parents; and one sister, Elizabeth Henderson.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
