Martha Rippie, 74, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Savannah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 12, 1950, to Henry and Ruby Watson. She worked for Garan, and later owned Price’s Bar BQ. She was a member of Living Fellowship Church. She enjoyed working puzzles, reading, baking and spending time with her family.
A Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Old Union Cemetery in Adamsville with Bro. Ronnie Sanders officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:30 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home is honored to assist the family.
She is survived by one daughter, Shelly Horton (Ernest); two sisters, Mary Willis and Dorothy Watson; three grandchildren, Clay McCullar (Keirstan), Kevin Rippie (Ashley) and Emma Rippie; and four great-grandchildren, Taron, Stella, Isaac and Kaceton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Bobby Rippie, Jr, and Kevin Rippie, Sr.; one brother, Henry Watson, Jr.; and one sister, Kathy Oliver.
