Mary Ruth Whitley

Mary Ruth Whitley, 83, of Booneville passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the home. She was a member of the Zion Rest Church of Christ. She loved cooking, being a member of the Red Hat Society and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. A Celebration of life will be at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Brown and Bro. Rex Bullock officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. She is survived by her sons, Robert Whitley (Robin), Michael Whitley (Maryann) and Jerry Whitley; her brother, Ottis Turman (Loyce); her grandchildren, Becky Sartin, Stephanie Demars (Jesse), Adam Whitley, Alex Whitley, Aaron Whitley, Jason Whitley (Amanda), Jennifer Downs (Chris) and Amy Dawson (Hunter); her great grandchildren; Jakob Sartin, Kalena Sartin, Bradlee Demars, Breanna Demars, Braedon Demars, Hunter Downs, Chase Downs, Noah Dawson, Grayson Dawson and Hunter Hayes; a special friend, Sandy James and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Gracia Turman; her husband, Billy Whitley; her son, Philip Whitley; eight brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers will be Jason Whitley, Adam Whitley, Alex Whitley, Aaron Whitley, Chris Downs, and Hunter Dawson.
