Max Eddy Edward Treece

Max Edward “Eddy” Treece, 47, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at his home. Born May 20, 1962, in Charleston, Ms., he was the son of Jack and Jean Blassingame. He was a 1980 graduate of Jumpertown High School. His favorite times were spent with his family and friends, especially his children and grandchildren.Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Matt Wilburn and Elder Cecil Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park.He is survived by one son, Britt Treece (Amber) ; one daughter, Erin Treece; the mother of his children, Sherri Cole Treece; two grandchildren, AliRaven and Gage Treece; his mother Jean Blassingame; four brothers, Jeff Treece, Steve Treece (Annette), Jim Blassingame (Shirley), and Scott Blassingame (Amy); two sisters, Cathy Ross (Gary), Jackie Ditto (Bill); and a host of nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Blassingame; a sister, Patsy Martin; and a niece, Nancy Calvary.Pallbearers will be his brothers and nephews.Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Thursday and until service time on Friday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Erin Treece Care Fund.
