

Mildred Leona Cox, 82, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born February 4, 1931, to Troy and Delia Lewis Aldridge. She was a Baptist. She enjoyed drawing, sewing and flowers.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 2, 2013, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Malcolm Garrett and Bro. Russell Clouse officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
She is survived by six daughters, Pam (Jesus) Atkinson of Tupelo; Karen (Larry) Eaton of Marietta, Marilyn (Russell) Hockin of Tupelo, Joan Holland of Mexico, Kathy (Clayton) Adams of Golden and Darlene Cox of Clarksdale; one son, Lane (Rhonda) Cox of Burnsville; four sisters, Ora Mae Berryman, Shirley (Dale) Foster, Maxine (Eddie Wayne) Cole and Marie Cleveland; two brothers, Wayne Aldridge and Danny Aldridge; 17 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Nash Cox; one daughter, Margie Adams; her parents; one sister, Veliar Johnson; and three brothers, J.T., Hubert, and Milton Aldridge.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and until service time Friday at the funeral home.
