Morris Timbes

He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. In the past he had served positions including Sunday School Superintendent and Lay Leader.

He was a retired International Representative for the UFCW International Union. He was a life long Democrat and served in several positions with the Prentiss County Democrats including Vice-Chairman and Secretary-Treasurer.

A Celebration of life will be Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Kelly and Bro. Dean Timbes officiating. Burial will be in New Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2018 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley Johnson Timbes; son, Mike Timbes (Jamie); daughters, Kathryn Timbes and Pam Essary (Kenneth); grandchildren, Christy Jordan, Patrick Timbes, April Sims, Brandy Minor and Brad Clark; ten great-grandchildren, Trey Sims, Sydney Sims, Austin Sims, Luke Minor, Emma Minor, Parker Clark, Grady Clark, Rhett Clark, Harley Jordan and Jaxon Jordon; two brothers, Dean Timbes (Dot) and Ronnie Timbes (Patti).

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Timbes, Brad Clark, Kenny Sims, Todd Jordan, Kenneth Essary and Stephen Minor. Honorary pallbearers will be the men from Bethel United Methodist Church.
