

Nancy Johnson, 58, died Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born May 18, 1952, to C.V. and Ollie Loveless. She was a member of Gaston Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Flint (MI) Southwestern High School, Northeast Junior College with an Associate Degree in Elementary Education, Blue Mountain College with BS in Elementary Education, and Ole Miss with a Masters of Education, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and a specialist in Education Leadership. She was an employee of the Prentiss County School District as a teacher, the GED Coordinator for over 20 years, Curriculum Coordinator, Professional Development Coordinator, Director of 21st Century CCLC, and Title 1 Instructional Supervisor. She was Teacher of the Year in 2002, in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers and a Star Teacher.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 16, 2011, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ben Parman and Bro. Matt Brown officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather (Jesse) Stevenson of Booneville and her children, Draven, Kaylee and Kyson; her son, Jason (Kimberly) Johnson of Booneville and his children, Jada, C.J., Paden Chism and Kenzie Owens; her mother, Ollie Loveless; and one brother, Mark (Beverly) Loveless of Columbia, TN.
She is preceded in death by her father C.V Loveless; and one brother, Michael Loveless.
Pallbearers are Bryan Fisher, Jason White, Brad Gann, T.J. Pharr, Levi Pharr and Kenneth Chism.
Honorary pallbearers are the Prentiss County teachers and county personnel.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Saturday, January 15, 2011, and until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
