

James Timothy “Tim” Rodgers, 50, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at his home. He was born March 25, 1962, to Carroll and Earlene Burlison Rodgers. He was an auto mechanic, and he attended Smith Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 7, 2012, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Blakely officiating. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Shelia Lowery Rodgers; two daughters, Candace (Jason) Brumley and Chasity Brasfield (Fiancé Aaron Miller), both of Booneville; one son, Braxton Rodgers of the home; his mother, Earlene Matthews; one sister, Billie Jean Davis of Shannon; six brothers, Jerry (Robin) Rodgers, Phillip Rodgers, both of Tupelo, Ronnie (Bethany) Rodgers and Donnie (Mollie) Rodgers, both of Georgia, Brad Matthews and Brian (Jody) Matthews, both of Huntington, TN; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and until service time Friday at the funeral home.
