Troy W. Bingham, 92, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center inTupelo. He was born August 27, 1919 to William and Amanda Bingham in Tishomingo County. He was a WWII Army Veteran and farmer prior to working at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Booneville; where he served as Laundry Housekeeping Supervisor and in security. Upon retiring from Baptist Memorial Hospital in 1985, he moved to Blue Springs. He was a member of East Booneville Baptist Church but, was currently attending Beech Springs Baptist Church, Blue Springs.
Services will be at 3:00 pm Friday, January 20, 2012 at McMillan Funeral Home of Booneville, with Joshua Blythe, Bro. Felix Hutchison and Bro. Doug Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Billie (Kenneth) Robison; grandchildren Pam (Gary) Robison and Ken (Heather) Robison: great grandchildren, Brooke (Bryan) Morris, Joshua (Tara) Blythe, Cole and Caleb Robison, Madison, Kennedy and Tripp Robison. Great great grandchildren, Ivie, Lexe and Gage Morris, Halle Jo Blythe; sister-in-law, Launa Bingham; niece, Carol Loden and nephew, Mike (Vickie) Barnette.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Mae Orene Millsaps Bingham; infant daughter, Joyce Ann Bingham, parents, William and Amanda Bingham, brother, Wilton Bingham; sisters, Marie Bingham Barnette and Opal Bingham.
Pallbearers will be Cole Robison, Caleb Robison, Tripp Robison, Bryan Morris, Mike Barnette and Mike Dean. Honorary pallbearers will be Mitchell Brown and Jerry Carter.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2012 and until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
