Angela L. (Giglio) Carangelo, 89, of Boston’s North End, passed away on July 18, 2023. Beloved daughter of the late Ignazio and Caterina (Vanella) Giglio. Loving wife of the late Ferdinand “Uncle Fred” Carangelo. Treasured mother of Kathy Carangelo D’Amore and her husband Anthony of the North End, Ferdinand “Freddy” Carangelo, Jr. of the North End, Anthony Carangelo of Millbury, MA, Robert Carangelo and his wife Annie of Saugus, and Phillip Carangelo and his wife Cheryl of Reading. Dear grandmother of Korey, Sara, Danielle, Phillip, Alyssa and Ferdinand. Dear sister of Rosalie Giglio of Medford, Vita Falzone and husband Sonny of Weymouth and the late Maryanne Gardner and late husband Paul. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and her beloved cat Luna Rose. The family will receive visitors on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10am to 11am in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St., North End with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11am.
