I worked with Burt for over 10 years and he was one of a kind.  He was professional, honest, caring, strong, fair, brilliant, and a mentors mentor. His unique style in doing business had a huge impact on me as well as countless others. Burt was respected by all inside and outside the company, and will be missed by many.  He was quick to laugh and genuinely cared about everyone.   I feel fortunate to have been able to work so closely with such a great man.

I knew Burt through my business dealings with Barrett Technologies.  He and Bill Townsend were a great team.  I appreciated his professionalism and ethical values immensely.  He always treated me with respect and forthrightness.  He will be missed by many.

My condolences to the Doo family and beyond, Burt was a great man and a good person to work for although he was stearn he was always fair. He will be truly missed within the Battery family, and I will miss him and never forget him. He gave everyone a fair chance

Burt Doo was my business partner and mentor for the past 13 years.  He made a huge positive change in my life and my approach to business and management.  I know how much he affected so many others, as well, who had the pleasure and privilege of working with Burt.

For 25 years I worked at Altron learning a business that served my family and I well. Working for Sam and Burt was never work for me I loved every minute of it. I was lucky enough to know him just a bit more as Burt was our softball pitcher in those early years at Altron , just one of the many people and team building things we did back then , as competitive as he was I knew this  is the guy who's team I wanted to be a part of. Just a really great guy no matter who you were.My condolences to his family from mine.

I was a passerby who gave CPR to Burton on the day of his passing. He left the earth quickly and without pain. Reading about him, his family and life's work has been an honor--we should all be so lucky to spend our brief time in this world wrapped in devoted family, doing meaningful work, and contributing to a culture of respect and dignity that so many have credited him with. My deepest condolences to his family, and my sincerest wishes for their peace of mind and strength during this trying time.

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to this great man. He showed great confidence in me as a young Engineer, entrusted with starting a major new business venture, and not so sure of myself, as we all have our self doubts. But Burt and Sam always supported me, kicked my butt when necessary, and we built a wonderful business, employed hundreds of people, and made some profit too. Thank you very much, Burt, I will never forget you, nor the wonderful years we worked together. R.I.P.

I am sorry to hear of Burt's passing.  I worked briefly with Burton as a vendor at Barrett.  He was always very pleasant and very nice.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Doo Family. I was fortunate to work at Altron for 15 years, and got an opportunity to work for Burt in the MLD division. He gave me my first management position. I'll never forget the guidance he offered as I took on the new job, and I'll never forget him. Burt was a great man who will be missed.

Burt Doo was one of the nicest people to know and work for. I was at altron for over 20 years and he was an amazing man. My prayers go out to all.

I have worked with Burton for many years as a vendor for Barrett Technologies. Burton left me with a deep impression of qualities that are so rare today, and I will always cherish the memories I have of him.
Although I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing, I am confident that the qualities that Burton demonstrated will live on with all the people he associated with.

I was fortunate to have worked with Burt at Barrett Technologies for a short time. Burt was an intelligent, refined and elegant man.  He left enough of an impression that I thought of him often and fondly over the years and deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I am so sorry for the family's loss.
