James H. “Jim” FitzGerald of Beacon Hill, passed away on November 2, 2015 at the age of 91. Beloved son of the late James and Louise (Dold) FitzGerald. Loving brother of the late Marie Snicewicz and her husband Joseph. Jim is survived by his cousin Eileen Aldred and her husband Stanley, and a dear friend, Susan Wallace. Also survived by many Godchildren. Funeral from the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston on Friday at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10am in St. Joseph Church, 68 Cardinal O’Connell Way, Boston. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Jim graduated from Boston Latin and continued his education at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, receiving a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering. Jim served in the US Army and was also a member of the American Chemical Society.
