My deepest condolences to JingYuan's parents, extended family and friends.  
JingYuan will be remembered by the doctors, nurses, social workers, scientists and staff at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Brigham and Women's Hospital for his courage, tenacity, charm, and resilience in the face of such a devastating illness.  
I deeply admired JingYuan's ability to discuss his hopes and concerns using beautiful spoken and written English, his loving parents' unfailing loyalty, and the deep respect JingYuan and his parents showed for each other. 
Thank you to Jing Yuan and his family for the honor of participating in his care.

Jingyuan was a very brave and smart student. I met him briefly in the beginning of the semester for 2-3 times as he expressed strong interest
to work in my laboratory and as he had registered to my Robotics course.  I was impressed with his desire to do research and his strong will to continue his studies and pursue his goals. For all of us, it is a tragic loss. May god bless him and give strength to his family. He will be missed and definitely remembered by all of us.

Our hearts are with you in this time of sorrow.

Lin was one of my student in my advanced Dynamics and Vibration. A gentleman and a hard working student. This was really unexpected. I saw him at the end of semester and had a chat with him. he told me his parents are doctor and I told him just work harder and make them proud. This is really a sad time. May God bless him and gives patient to his parents.

May he rest in peace, and may God give all the strength Jingyuan's loved ones need in these difficult days ...
