John J. “Jay” Manning of the South End on Aug. 10, 2014. Loving brother of the late Elisha Wilbur Cobb (born Richard Thomas Manning). Cherished best friend of Jordan Tse of Boston. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Christine “Tina” Cobb, his nephews Richard Thomas Cobb and his wife Janet of Merrimack, NH, Michael Joshua Cobb of Maynard, MA, his niece Annemarie Cobb King and her husband Bill of Hudson, MA, his grandnephews, Joshua King, Daniel King, and Benjamin King, his grandniece, Crystal Lee Cobb of Nashua, NH, and his great-grandniece, Madeline. He also leaves behind friends and loved ones too numerous to count. A Time of Remembrance will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm in the Boston Harborside Home of J.S. Waterman & Sons Waring-Langone, 580 Commercial St., Boston, MA. An opportunity for Personal Reflection will begin at 6pm.
