Deeply saddened to learn this news. Maureen was a former co-worker and for the past 3+ years a North End neighbor. She was always so kind and genuinely interested in how I was doing. I was lucky enough to bump into her on the street fairly often even as recently as a month ago and I always left our conversations with a smile on my face and feeling better than I had before seeing her. RIP Maureen and I will cherish all of the personal and professional advice you've given me over the years.

I am saddened by the news of Maureen’s passing. She was a wonderful woman who clearly loved her family so much. We would go out for lunch and share fun-filled stories about our families. Maureen put her “all” into everything she did. She was such a kind and caring person. I will miss her! Condolences to her family, may you all find peace during this difficult time.

I too was stunned to learn of Maureen’s passing. Hearing from her during our weekly EDRM calls always was a lift, one that clearly pales compared with the joy and delight she brought to so many for so long. I would have liked to have met Maureen in person, not just on the calls, and would have loved to get a chance to try Maureen’s Puerto Rican potatoes; she made them sound wonderful.

Maureen was always a highlight of my working week, a kind soul with even kinder words. I am grateful to have had even a short amount of time with such a generous and caring person.

You are missed, my friend. God really shined on me and all of us who had the chance to know you,

Maureen made delicious Puerto Rican potatoes. She brought them to Thanksgiving one year--possibly the only potato recipe never previously tried by my Irish family.
She introduced me to several dynamite restaurants in the the North End and I thought I knew them all.
She was happy to view and vote on color choices in my quilts.
Maureen packed gigantic amounts of love, enthusiasm, sun worship and humor into one small person.
I will miss her.

Maureen,

You left us too soon, and I am grateful for the time we had together.

I will remember you last month, dancing as your avatar and climbing the lighthouse during fireworks. I remember your kind offers to write cards to those made lonely by the pandemic, and your wonderful work with Women in eDiscovery. You always had an encouraging word.

Your love for your family, particularly your sister and nephew, shone through our conversations.

Rest in peace, Maureen.

Maureen, my dear friend Lizard, was one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever known. We walked the path, sharing difficult but also many good times together. This photo is from our time on Nantucket several years ago when Lizard was well and happy. This is the way I chose to remember Maureen - full of life, laughter, and light. May you be free and at peace my dear, sweet friend.

I was so stunned to hear of Maureen's passing. She was always such a warm, encouraging presence in the weekly support calls with her other eDiscovery friends. May her memory always be a blessing to her family and friends.
