

Beloved daughter of Edna (Rust) O’Connor and the late William Joseph O’Connor. Loving wife of David S. Kirk of Boston. Cherished mother of Nathaniel Kirk and his wife Laura from New York City, Garrett and Anne Kirk of Boston. Adoring grandmother of Alexander Kirk. Loving sister of Karen O’Connor Newman, Susan O’Connor McKay, William J. O’Connor, and Timothy J. O’Connor. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was a graduate of Marymount College and received her Master’s of Education from Boston College. Peggy was a teacher for the Boston Public School system for many years and most recently a substitute teacher. She was a member of the board of directors for the Nichols House Museum and an active member of the MSPCC. Peggy was also actively involved in Beacon Hill Little League, Boy Scouts, and Cub Scouts. She enjoyed spending time playing tennis, gardening and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Paulist Center, 5 Park Street, Boston on Friday, June, 21, 2013 at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Peggy’s memory to the Nichols House Museum or The Paulist Center in Boston.
