Robert J. Malloy of Boston and Chatham on December 5, 2014. Beloved son of the late John Patrick and Mildred Agnes (Crowley) Malloy. Loving husband of Rita (Molinari) Malloy. Devoted father of Katherine Malloy & her husband Anthony Ziccardi of NY, NY., and J. Patrick Malloy & his wife Elizabeth Malloy of Boston. Dear grandfather of Hadley Malloy. Funeral from the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston on Wednesday at 8:45am followed by a mass of Christian burial in St. Cecilia Church, 18 Belvidere St., Boston at 10AM. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 9th from 4-8PM. Services will conclude with interment in Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Mr. Malloy was born in Boston, growing up in South Boston, he became an accomplished student and hockey player at Boston College High, and Boston College, earning scholarships at both schools. He had a distinguished career in finance working at Merrill Lynch in equity sales for 39 years. He was an avid squash player and fan, and a longtime member of the University Clubs of Boston and New York.
