Sheila Faith O'Neill

Sheila faith O’Neill, (March 3, 1941 – August 13, 2023) passed away from a long illness at Delmar Gardens, O’Fallon, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stafford J. O’Neill and Sandra M. (nee Samways) O’Neill. She is survived by her brother, John S. O’Neill and sister-in-law Mary Ann (Nee De Cola) O’Neill; nieces Erin (O’Neill) Girsch, Megan O’Neill, and Nephew, Patrick O'Neill; great nieces, Jamee and Jill Girsch and great nephews, Henry and Bert Whitis. Sheila graduated Loyola University in Chicago, IL and was in banking. She retired from Merrill Lynch branch of Bank of America. She was a loving, caring person and a bright light to all who knew her. Her greatest love was O’Toole, her Golden Retriever and she was active for many years in the Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue Assn. In Boston and was a lover of all animals and wildlife. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Alzheimer’s Disease Research and the LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Association.

A Memorial Mass for Sheila O’Neill will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church located 18 Belvidere Street, Boston, MA 02215.
