Alice Fay (Karl) Reed, of Wareham, MA, formerly of Sandwich passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Tobey Hospital. She was the wife of the late Walter Holbrook Reed. The couple had married on September 20, 1952
Born in New Bedford, MA a daughter of the late John H. and Agnes (Fay) Karl. At the age of 10 the family moved to Buzzards Bay and she had graduated from Wareham High School. She enjoyed playing basketball and fencing. She had worked as an assistant manager in the cosmetics department at Filene's in Natick and Chestnut Hill.
She is survived by her children Karl H. Reed and his wife Pam of East Wareham, MA, Cheree Willoughby and her husband Chuck of Westbrook, ME; a brother, Jack Karl and his wife Sheri of Lafayette, Indiana; 4 grandchildren, Keith Reed and his wife Amanda of Wareham, MA, Melissa Ip and her husband Allan of Plymouth, MA, Jason Willoughby and his wife Courtney of Anchorage, Alaska Ashley Willoughby of Windham, ME and 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
