

Born on August 1,1935, in Arista, West Virginia, Alice lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend, whose gentle spirit and generous heart left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Alice found joy in being a homemaker and living on Cape Cod by the canal. She loved cooking, playing card games, quilting, sewing, puzzles, watching the Food Network Channel and gazing out the window at the boats, cruise ships and barges going by. She poured her heart into caring for her son, Frank who was born with developmental delays, the two of them were inseparable. Alice will forever be remembered for making everyone feel welcome in her presence.
Her family was her greatest source of pride and joy. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Frank and George; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Sean, Cheri, Colin, Anya, and Kayla; and her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ally, Noah, Joshua, and Greyson. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved sisters, Margie, Brenda, Katherine, and Janice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, son Randy and brothers Jim, Oliver and Roland.
Though COPD challenged Alice in her later years, she faced it with grace and strength, never losing her warmth or her love for those around her. Her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, with a visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Followed by a burial at 12:30 p.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Otis Memorial in Bourne, Massachusetts.
