The daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Andrews of Onset. Alvina was the widow of Charles Brooks,Catuamet, Mother of Robert Andrews of Onset and Shirley Douglass Miller of Cataumet. Two grandchildren, Susan Douglass Baker of Falmouth and Regina Pereira of Monument Beach. Six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and she was "Aunt Allie" to many nieces and nephews.
Alvina was an avid gardener and could make the deadest twig bloom into a bush. Another passion was her art, something she started later in life making her our own "Grandma Moses". Another favorite hobby was fishing with her husband Charles.
Visiting hours 5-7 p.m. March 13 at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations to charity of ones choice.
