Charles R. Kinder, a 45-year resident of Pocasset, MA passed away peacefully at age 85 with family by his side, on September 15th, 2014 at JML Care center in Falmouth, MA. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary A. Kinder, three sons Thomas (spouse Doreen), David (spouse Cindi and grandson Bryan), and Christopher (spouse Jesus). Charles was born and raised in Flint, MI, the only son of Thomas and Matilee Kinder (both deceased) and was an all-star football center at Beecher High School, Flint, MI. He was a retired career Air Force Master Sergeant and Korean War veteran. As an armament specialist he travelled extensively with wife and sons while working at NATO bases around the world, including Ramstein AFB in Germany. Charles enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, gardening around the house, sailing around Buzzards Bay, singing, playing the ukulele and harmonica, and was a skilled wood-burning artist of vintage ships and military aircraft. Burial will be a private ceremony with military honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
