Edith lived in East Wareham, MA, since the late sixties. Edie “gifted” everyone with her humorous, loving, and giving personality. Edie interpreted life calmly and “knowingly”. She worked her later years as a school bus driver for Bourne.
Edie’s many virtues, words of wisdom, and her wit, she will be missed by many who loved her.
She was born to the late Eskil B. and Vienno “Vie” Mumu” (Turvo) Johnson. Edie is survived by her 6 children: Jennifer Camp of Middleboro, Rebecca Jacobson of Wareham, Adam Nader of Rockland, Samantha Nader of Michigan, Jason and Leah Nader of Bridgewater, Amanda Nader of Wareham, and twelve grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Edie had a great artistic talent and many different interests. Edie made many “old fashioned” items for her family and friends through the years: sewing, knitting, painting, baking, cooking, gardening, raising farm animals, and many other interesting abilities.
A ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer’s association on Edie’s behalf.
