Eunice Gertrude (Hanlon) Sullivan of Wareham died on Friday, June 10, 2011 at the age of 87. She was the wife of the late Daniel F. Sullivan; the mother of Dorothy F. Sullivan of Wareham, Richard J. Sullivan and his wife Shirley of East Bridgewater, James J. Sullivan and his wife Cecilia of East Sandwich and Maureen A. Harris and her husband George of Plympton; and the sister of Florence Leaver of Stoughton, Gertrude Wilson of Wareham and the late Helen Gilpin. She also leaves five grandchildren, Dana, Nicole, Shawn, Ryan and Kaylin; two great-grandchildren, Colin and Brooke, and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 am on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. in Bourne, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 841 Shore Road, Pocasset. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
