Geraldine Anne Bailey

Avon Park, Fl - Geraldine Anne Bailey, 84, of Avon Park Florida, born in Newport, NH on October 25th 1933, and formerly a resident of Sterling, MA passed away Saturday January 6th, 2018 at Florida Hospital in Tampa, Fl after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband, Randolph Bailey and would have been married 57 years on February 22nd. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 4 children, and 9 grandchildren: Andrea Bailey and her fiancé Ray Bazzano, Ed Bailey and his wife Marlene, Ray Bailey and his wife Jenna, and Philip Bailey and his wife Tabetha. She leaves her grandchildren: Amanda, Kari, Tyler, Caitlin, Samantha, Rebecca, Annie, Alex and Krystal. She also leaves her cousin Barry Caminati, who lives in Vero Beach, FL, her extended family currently residing in New Hampshire and the many friends in Massachusetts, California and Florida.

Geraldine enjoyed all of life. She traveled the country with her husband for over 10 years in an RV. Settling in California then moving to Florida 2 years ago. She enjoyed playing pool, bingo, dancing, swimming, gardening, taking walks, riding Motorcycles, Four Wheeling, Dunkin’s coffee and her favorite donut. She felt kinship with all animals especially her cats, and was an avid buyer at yard sales. She was gentle, loving and kind, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She will be loved forever.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 22nd from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd in Bourne, MA with a service from 1:00 to 1:30 PM. Interment and burial will be held at 2:00 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave in Bourne, MA.
