Chambers, Janet Louise 78, of Bourne, Ma passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2021 at the Falmouth Hospital. Janet was born to the late George L. and Barbara (Means) McAvoy on May 19, 1943, in Quincy, Ma.
Janet grew up in Quincy, Ma and graduated from North Quincy High School in 1961. She successfully raised her three children from home in Quincy.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Charles Chambers. Janet is also survived by her sons; Mark Chambers (Weymouth), Gregory Chambers (Mansfield) and Wayne Chambers (Plymouth). Also, sister Barbara (McAvoy) Solari (Kingston), daughter in law Jennifer (Altrich) Chambers (Plymouth) and her very special granddaughters Caroline and Abigail Chambers (Plymouth).
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday October 5, 2021 at 12pm in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA. Visiting hour will be prior from 11-12pm, burial will follow at Center Cemetery in Pembroke, MA at 2pm.
