

Jerry Chase of Bourne and Port Orange, Florida died on November 5, 2013 at the age of 83. Born September 21, 1930 in Alton, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Mary P. Varney; the husband of the late Arlene (Varney) Chase for 35 years; and the loving, longtime companion of Bob Williams of Bourne.
Mr. Chase was a veteran of both the Navy and Air Force. After his retirement from the Air Force, he received his degree from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and practiced as a Physician’s Assistant for Falmouth Medical Associates where he was well respected by his patients and peers.
In addition to his love of medicine and passion for the well being of others, he was an avid gardener, loving father, grandfather and friend.
He leaves behind his four children: Candy Carroll and her husband Bruce of Monument Beach, Scott Froman and his wife Judith of Sagamore Beach, Duncan Chase and his wife Denise and Stephanie White and her husband Dennis, all of Bourne; nine grandchildren: Rhiannon and Michael Froman, Stephanie Haden, Heather Harmon, Kelli Jensen, Sara Neill, Ryann Chase, and Jenna and Shaun White; and eight great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews who were dear to him.
Jerry’s family would like to invite all of his family, friends and colleagues to join them in a Celebration of His Life which will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the home of Stephanie and Dennis White.
