Kevin V. Vail

Kevin V. Vail, age 42, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Monday, June 1, 2015. He was born in Winnfield, IL and raised in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Kevin was the son of Norman W. and Rosemary C. (Fox) Vail. Kevin honorably served his country in the United States Navy for ten years, from 1993 to 2003. After leaving the military, Kevin continued to honor his fellow servicemen and women by working and volunteering to improve veteran’s lives. His proud sense of duty led him to volunteer for organizations such as the Boy Scouts, 4-H, Shriners and Masonic Lodge.

Kevin is survived by his wife Jennifer (Casey) Vail and son David of Dennis, MA, daughter Kayla and son Shaun of Queensland, Australia, brother Chris Vail and fiancé Janet Laverty of Stratford, Ontario, sister Danielle Vail Carere and husband Joe of Cambridge, Ontario, and sister Cyndi Vail Brubacher and husband Alex of Kitchener, Ontario. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday June, 21 from 3-6 PM at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA. Funeral Mass on Monday, June, 22 at 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Rd., Pocasset, MA. Burial with Military Honors to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
