He was a lifelong resident of the Town of Bourne and the husband of Jennie F. (Nana) Reynolds. They were married for 61 happy years, from 1946 until her passing in April, 2008. In 1942.
Nathan enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country as a Machinist’s Mate, Second Class during World War Two. After leaving the Navy in 1945, he worked as a carpenter and as a shellfisherman.
He was a devoted husband and father, a lover of the sea, an avid bird watcher, a builder of many things, and a fixer of anything broken. He could often be found along the shores of Monks Cove enjoying the peaceful nature it provided.
He leaves behind three daughters, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
At his request, no memorial services for the public are planned.
