Peter Alan Morrison

Peter was born on March 4, 1951 to parents Arthur and Ethel (Wentworth) Morrison, both deceased. He attended Wareham schools and graduated from Wareham High in 1969. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps from September, 1969, to February, 1971 when he was honorably discharged. He attended East Coast Aero Tech where he received a degree in Aeronautics. He enjoyed socializing, fishing, shooting, and diving, and especially enjoyed working on airplanes.

Surviving family includes his partner Lisa, son Scott Morrison and his wife Susan, granddaughter Abigail, and son Gregory, all of Wareham; Siblings Michael Morrison and his wife Joyce of Wareham, Bobby Morrison and his wife Yvette of Rochester, John Morrison of Portland, Maine, and David Morrison and his wife Sherry of Wareham.

Friends may share respects with the family at a visitation at 8:00 A.M. on Friday, June 12that Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 Macarthur Blvd, Bourne. A graveside service with military honors will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the National Cemetery in Bourne. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
