He joined the United States Air Force in 1973 and worked as an Electronic Measurement Equipment Technician. He served on active duty for 22 years, following his retirement from the Air Force, he served 18 years in the civil service at Otis Air National Guard Base.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Maceiko) Cole, his father Richard L. Cole, daughters Lindsay C. Roan, Jessica C. Bolles, granddaughters Annabelle M.Roan, Lydia A. Bolles and grandson, Quinten R. Bolles. Also his Brother Wayne R. Cole and Sister Diane Sheldon. He is predeceased by his mother, Arlene (Corby) Cole and Daughter Allison Cole.
His retirement was spent enjoying his family as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Rick loved playing computer games, especially World of Warcraft, where his main character, A human paladin by the name of Bozo, will forever reign supreme. “For the Alliance!” Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday February 28, 2019 from 5-7 pm at Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Boulevard, Bourne, MA 02532.
