Cheryl Ann Cotton, 76, passed away on September 30, 2024. She was born in Washington DC, the daughter to the late Alfred Dixon Thomas and Dorothy Page Edge. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend.
Cheryl worked 30+ years for the Department of Justice in Washington DC until her retirement in 2005. A longtime resident of Crofton, MD Cheryl would always say, “I have the best neighbors.” She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing, and listening to her music, specifically The Eagles.
Cheryl is survived by her brother Robert (Bob) Thomas, half-siblings Kenny Edge and Tammie Werntz, niece Felicia Stoetzel and her husband Kevin, grand-nephews Jack and Nick Stoetzel.
To honor Cheryl, a Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at 1533 Chapman Rd, Crofton, MD, 21114.
