PHILLIPS, DOROTHY ANN ESLIN DOTTIE, age 86, of Chesapeake Beach and formerly of Edgewater and Annapolis, died July 27, 2014. Ms. Phillips was born in 1928, in Washington, D.C. where she graduated from Eastern High School in Washington, D.C. She retired in 1983 from the government, after serving almost 38 years in civil service. She enjoyed traveling with her family to Ocean City and Delaware; reading; movies; music; and cheering for the Redskins. She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon E. Phillips. Surviving are a daughter, Janet Ann Payne, two grandchildren, Danielle and Kollin Ray; and her sister, Margie E. Kriner. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD, 20715. Services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014, 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Maryland.
