On Wednesday, August 22, 2012 of Upper Marlboro, MD. Husband of Evelyn M. Solomon; father of Donna Solomon, Paula Charles, Sharon George, Marcia Walker, Nicole Thezard, Michelle Nedd, Michael, Karen and Edwin Solomon, Jr.; brother of Meignon Winter, Gloria Lewis, Desiree Solomon Callender, Lynette, Waddington, Percival, Franklyn and Othneil Solomon and the late David Solomon. Edwin is also survived by 26 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 7301 Annapolis RD, Landover Hills, MD 20784. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Maryland National Memorial Park, Laurel, Maryland.
