Fay Brooks Hubbard

Age 77, female, of Crofton, died on Thursday, July 7th 2016 at her daughter’s home in Pasadena, Md. Her death came after 20 years of suffering with Emphysema

Fay was born in Greensboro in Caroline County, Maryland on August 9th 1938.

Fay married Charles Hubbard in December of 1960; Charles died in March 2002. Together they had two children, Susan Haller of Pasadena and David Hubbard who died in September 1995.

Fay had 2 grandchildren, Kevin Haller who died in June of 1998 and Kassandra Haller who spent many hours with her grandmother during her illness

She is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Caine of Salisbury, and Ann Robbins of Cambridge

And she also leaves behind her former son-in-law, David Haller, her long time and devoted friend.

After graduating from Greensboro High School, she studied at the Lutheran Hospital of Nursing, graduating in 1959, She went on to work in the medical/surgical field as an RN for 30 years

Fay was very dedicated to her family, and enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, and handicrafts. She resided for most of her adult life in Crofton. MD, but had recently moved to her daughter’s home as her illness progressed. Her daughter was a caring companion in those final days.

A Gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 12:00PM till time of Memorial Service at 1:00PM at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home 16000 Annapolis Road Bowie, MD 20715. Interment Private.

The family requests that there be no flowers.
