My heart goes out to the family!  Fred was my dear friend and supported me to the highest!  He was always someone I could cal and ask to help me with fixing a car or moving to another state and he would say OK E when and where!
We took many trips together (NC, VA, SC, GA ) and just riding around DC.  I’ve tried calling him many times and even for his Birthday as I’ve been out of town a while( travel nursing) and recently moved back to DC and his phone would go flat.  I never thought it was because he’d gone home to be with God!  May God continue to Bless his family!  My heart is aching too!

It was almost a year we got to visit you. You welcomed us into your home. You’re so soft spoken and your calm demeanor reminds us so much of our dad. It was our first time visiting Maryland. You did a great job showing us around both Maryland and Washington DC. You took us to the White House, the Capitol and the Monument. Our memories of you, we will always cherish. We remember when you took us shopping and we were lost, you pulled over and pulled out your paper map. We said, “Uncle Fred do you know how to read paper maps?” You laughed and said of course and began to explained it all to us. You introduced Jamaican patties with coco bread to us and we loved them ever since. We loved listening to the blues with you at home while watching the deers in the backyard. It was a short visit but we’re so happy we got to spend time with you. We will miss your Sunday calls uncle Fred. We love you always, rest in eternal peace.

My Dear Brother Frederick

It is with great sorrow and a broken heart that I am writing to say how much I am going to miss you. Your sudden passing left a void in my heart.

I remember growing up, we enjoyed climbing the breadfruit tree at mom's house as well as sitting and talking about life.

I was glad that we were able to reunite after such a long time when I visited Baltimore in December 2021. I would always  remember  that unique - tasting saltfish soup you cooked which I greatly enjoyed. The Sunday afternoon drive we took touring Washington DC was amazing. I enjoyed the scenery. You took me to see the White House which was a memorable moment.

Even though I am heartbroken that you are no longer with us; I know that you are in a better place.

Rest in Peace My Dear Brother. You will surely be missed but forever remain in our hearts.

From the time I met Frederick A. King in college in 1981, we became instant friends.  Both late bloomers, we had worked over a decade in the Caribbean at varied jobs - Fred, notably at St.Kitts Treasury and U.S.V.I. airlines.  But his first love was the outdoors and he was the ultimate outdoorsman.  I have fond memories of camping trips and the ultimate, in the great Smokey Mountains.  So, it was despite having studied and received a degree in Computer Science, he worked at delivering packages to grateful recipients for UPS, where he received his most satisfaction.  Fred "Olds School" clung to "the good old days" by collecting classic cars and an extensive Caribbean stamp collection.  Frederick also liked exploring historical sites like Harper's Ferry and Amish country.  To know Frederick was to love him.  A friend forever.  Marcia Clarke Campbell

I will miss you, forever, my dear brother.  Those beautiful memories I have of our childhood and adulthood, the conversations we shared, the visits, the camaraderie are all priceless.  I was stunned and breathless when I found out that you were gone, but I know you are without pain and without stress and at peace.  I thank God that He allowed you in my life. I would like to express Condolences to Gwen and Sylvester on the passing of your dear brother Frederick. A very dear cousin of fond memories. I remember the first person who gave me monkey to eat. Frederick would go in the mountain to hunt, which was his passion. I would say he was a good cook, because he cooked that monkey which was so tasty. Frederick was a loving and caring person to me. Adolphus King (Papa) being his uncle, we shared that close bond. Take courage knowing that he's in a better place now. My Brother, my uncle  was a hard worker. He worked many jobs to support himself and his dreams. He had visions of things that he wanted and followed the dreams to the end.
He was fierce and fearless...a warrior spirit. He faced all adversities ...head on.
He was a tough business man. He paid for only what he asked for, nothing else.
He was soft-spoken...very gentle and considerate to those who did not offend him.
He was kind hearted. He gave to those in need and he received the blessings.
He was a much-loved member of the family and highly respected in his community by those who knew him.
